Your account
Why do I need a code to log in?
After your password, we email you a 6-digit code. This keeps your notes safe even if someone learns your password. The code expires in 10 minutes.
Can I skip the code on my own phone or laptop?
Yes. When you log in, tick “Remember this device for 30 days.” Only do this on devices you own, not on shared or school computers.
I didn’t get the code.
Check your spam or promotions folder, and make sure you typed your email correctly. You can ask for a new code once a minute from the code page. A new code replaces the old one.
I forgot my password.
Go to Forgot password, enter your email, and use the code we send to set a new password. For safety, this also logs out any devices you chose to remember.
Photos and AI
What kinds of photos work?
Handwritten notes, printed pages, lecture slides, whiteboards, textbook pages, screenshots, and diagrams. Clear, well-lit photos taken straight on give the best results.
Which file types can I upload?
JPG, PNG, and WEBP. iPhone HEIC photos need converting first. On your iPhone, go to Settings → Camera → Formats and choose “Most Compatible” to save new photos as JPG.
Is the AI always right?
No. AI can misread messy handwriting or make mistakes. Always check generated notes against your original material before you study from them. You can edit anything.
How do scans and limits work?
Each plan gives you a number of scans every month, refilled on the 1st. One scan turns up to 50, 100, or 200 photos (depending on your plan) into one note. Smaller scans can use Precise notes, our most accurate mode; bigger ones use Fast notes. AI quizzes, flashcards, and concept maps have their own monthly amount. A scan that fails doesn’t count. See Pricing and Plan and usage.
Privacy and sharing
Who can see my notes?
Only you, until you share a note with a specific person or group. Copying a note’s link doesn’t make it public.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@aveonote.com from the email address on your account and we’ll delete it along with your notes and files.
