Terms of service

These terms are the rules for using AveoNote, operated by AveoNote. By creating an account or using AveoNote, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Your account

• You need to be at least 18 to use AveoNote, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your password and login codes to yourself.
• You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.
• One person per account. Don’t share accounts or create accounts to get around plan limits.

Your content

Your notes, photos, and files belong to you. You keep all your rights to them.

To run AveoNote, you give us permission to store, process, and display your content. This includes sending it to our service providers, such as our AI provider, when you use features that need it, and showing it to people you choose to share it with. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups that are removed over time.

Only upload material you have the right to use. When you share notes, make sure you’re allowed to share what’s in them, such as images or text copied from textbooks.

Acceptable use

Don’t use AveoNote to:

• Break the law or your school’s academic integrity rules, such as sharing exam answers during an exam.
• Upload or share content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or that invades someone’s privacy.
• Share other people’s copyrighted material without permission.
• Try to access other people’s accounts or private notes, or disrupt or overload the service.
• Copy, resell, or automate access to AveoNote without our written permission.

You can report content that breaks these rules. We may remove it and suspend or close accounts that break them.

AI features

• AI-generated notes, quizzes, flashcards, and images can contain mistakes. Always check them against your original material before relying on them.
• AveoNote is a study aid. It doesn’t replace your classes, your teachers, or your own judgment.
• Each plan includes a number of scans and AI quizzes, flashcards, and concept maps every month. They refill on the 1st and don’t carry over. Bonus scans given to you don’t expire. Failed scans don’t count. Plans are priced in US dollars.

Plans and payments

AveoNote has a Free plan and a Premium plan at ₱50 per month. Premium isn’t available for purchase yet. Before it launches, we’ll add payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund details to these terms. We may change plan features or prices in the future, and we’ll tell you before a change affects a subscription you’ve paid for.

Availability

We work to keep AveoNote running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add, or remove features. Keep your own copies of anything important; you can export your notes.

Ending your account

You can stop using AveoNote at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@aveonote.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk.

Limitation of liability

AveoNote is provided “as is.” To the extent allowed by law, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, such as lost grades or lost study time, caused by errors in the service or in AI-generated content, or by loss of content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know by email or with a notice on the site. If you keep using AveoNote after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
